Declaración del Comité Ejecutivo, Organización Internacional de Monjes Birmanos-Declaration by the Executive Committee, International Burmese Monks Or

1.- La Organización Internacional de Monjes Birmanos IBMO, formado por Todos los Monjes- establecidos en el Estado de New York, USA. Mediante su Comité Ejecutivo, celebra la liberación de seis mil presos de varias prisiones de Birmania. Pero no llevándose a Falsos Engaños, el Comité no encuentra razón para apoyar al gobierno militar.

2. Tal y como muestra el informe de la Asociación para Asistencia de Prisioneros Políticos, de los 6313 prisioneros solo 24 de ellos son realmente prisioneros políticos. Esto tiene claramente la intención de confundir a los representantes del ASEAN así como a las organizaciones internacionales.

3. El Comité Ejecutivo del IBMO, demanda que los cientos de Prisioneros Políticos, que están detenidos con falsos cargos, aislados y confinados en prisiones por toda Birmania, sean liberados incondicionalmente incluyendo a Daw Aung San Suu Kyi y a U Tin Oo

4. El Comité Ejecutivo desea dar la noticia que los Cuerpos Internacionales que se han autoproclamado en la nueva Constitución, con el único objetivo de hacer perpetrar la Junta, bajo duras medidas de coacción a las gentes birmanas, desaparezcan.

5. Por estas razones, el Comité Ejecutivo del IBMO, solicita encarecidamente a los birmanos de NO participar en las elecciones generales que tendrán lugar el próximo 2010.

1. The International Burmese Monks Organization (I.B.M.O) formed by all the

Burmese Monks abroad – is established in the New York State, U.S.A. The

Executive Committee of the I.B.M.O. welcomes the news of release of over six

thousand prisoners from various jails in Burma. But the False Intention with which

it was done has upset the Committee and gives no reason to endorse the

unlawful military government.

2. As reported by the Association for Assistance for Political Prisoners (A.A.P.P.), of

the 6313 prisoners who were released, only 24 were political prisoners. This

reveals the true intention of the S.P.D.C. government, which is merely to confuse

the representatives of A.S.E.A.N. countries as well as the International

Organizations.

3. The Executive Committee of the I.B.M.O. demand that hundreds of Political

Prisoners, who were falsely charges with various unlawful Acts and incarcerated

in desolate prisons all over the country, be released unconditionally including

Daw Aung San Su Kyi and U Tin Oo.

4. The Executive Committee wishes to bring to notice of the International Bodies,

that the self proclaimed confirmation of the new Constitution was merely to

continue the existing military junta carried out under duress by cheating and

coercion of people

5. For the above reasons, the Executive committee of the I.B.M.O. hereby pleads

the people of Burma NOT to participate in the General Election to be held in

2010.
