Dr. Win Naing
Born in ShweBO,Sagaing Division, Upper Burma, dob-02.05.1947,Father U Thi Wun,MP Pyi Daung Su, Democratic Government.Started political involvements
at the age of 11 years by lobbying for Pyi Daung Su Party. led by U Nu.
Continued anti-regime procceedings whilst attending the Medical Institute, University of Mandalay,led the students for demonstrations & students movements with clandestine actiities.Was detained in Mandalay prison for few weeks in 1965.
Involved in the 1988 political uprising, as the camp Officer of the strike Committee,Prome District,Pegu Division, the native town of the late dictator, General Ne Win. After the military coup on 18/09/88, set up the NLD,party,in Prome, acted as the general secretary. Fled Burma in 1991,
continued pro-democratic activities in the UK, now the Chairman of the NLD,
Liberated Area,UK Representative of NCUB for UK.
